Alanna creates illustrations on tiles that are fun, tongue-in-cheek and inspired by Irish landscapes and pop culture. There is also a slight nod to her half-Dutch background in the way she incorporates traditional Delft Blue patterns in her work.
Alanna’s tiles come with nifty invisible hanging systems (with optional stand), or in high quality frames with a luxurious navy velour backing. Retail prices start from 40 EUR for single tiles, 65 EUR for framed single tiles and up to 185 EUR for large 4-tile mosaics.
She founded her business in 2015. She creates all illustrations and makes her tiles from start to finish in her home studio in Ashford, Co. Wicklow.
Alanna is multi-award winning and has been selected by the Design and Crafts Council of Ireland to be part of the prestigious Design Ireland programme.
