Stud Puffin is the newest bird on the block. Inspired by the puffins on the Wild Atlantic Way this chap can normally be found hanging out by the Cliffs of Moher. Pictured in front of the iconic cliffs wearing a top hat, Stud Puffin never fails to make people smile.

Love My Framed Stud Puffin Tile

I recently travelled to Ireland and framed tiles by Alanna Plekkenpol were on sale at the Malahide Castle Visitor Center. As a collector of Delft, I couldn't resist the charming take on Delft with Irish themes. I purchased FreeWheeling and when I got home, I realized I should have bought two framed tiles. So I purchased Stud Puffin online and I now have a balanced display of Delft plates with the two beautiful and fun framed tiles by Alanna on either side. Perfect!

An absolutely gorgeous display gift!

Found through a recommendation for Irish artists on reddit, an Alanna Plekkenpol tile ended up being just the perfect gift for my middle-aged dad, and is now sitting in a place of pride on the family mantelpiece.
